Appointment of Chairman and Technical Director

PACT Engineering is pleased to announce that Mr. Arshak Toufenkjian has been appointed as the new Chairman and Technical Director, effective immediately.

Mr. Toufenkjian has been an integral part of PACT since 2000, contributing significantly to its evolution from a two-person operation in the UAE to a robust headquarters and fabrication facility employing over 200 professionals. His visionary leadership and steadfast dedication have driven PACT’s growth and oversaw landmark projects across the Middle East.

Leadership and Achievements

Under Mr Toufenkjian’s leadership, PACT has successfully delivered notable projects such as the Attaqah Power Plant in Egypt and the Karbala Water Treatment Plant in Iraq. The water treatment system at the Attaqah Power Plant, completed in 2018, purifies 450,000 cubic meters per day and includes advanced technologies like Boosting Stations, Ultrafiltration Systems, SWRO with Energy Recovery Turbines, Ion Exchange Systems, Chemical Storage, and Neutralization Systems.

In 2012, Mr. Toufenkjian spearheaded the design and engineering supply for the Karbala Water Treatment Plant, enhancing its capacity to treat 240,000 cubic meters daily with critical components such as Pump Stations, Clariflocculators, and Gravity Filters.
